Clay Idol Maker Scheme
To promote the clay idol making activities, the Government has also launched a Scheme to provide a 50% subsidized raw material and other monetary benefits to the clay idol makers. Under the scheme Mela Sahay of Rs.1000/- per day /per artisans is provided to the artisans who participated in the Fair organised by the Institute. The Institute is also undertaking intensive mass media campaign and IEC activities to promote the usage of clay idols in the State.
